The terms governing your use of this website and the relationship between Valestral and the people who visit, inquire, and become clients.

Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Valestral website (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Informational use only
The content on this Site is for general information only and should not be treated as tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice. Visiting this Site, requesting a consultation, or attending an initial consultation does not create a tax professional-client relationship. Valestral begins professional services only after both parties sign a written service agreement.
Consultation requests
Information you provide when requesting a consultation, whether through the booking calendar or by email, is used to see if we're a good match, schedule a conversation, and respond to you. A request does not require Valestral to accept you as a client or require you to hire Valestral.
Professional services
All professional services provided by Valestral are covered by a separate written service agreement that explains the work included, what will be provided, the fees, and each party's responsibilities. If these Terms conflict with a signed service agreement, the service agreement controls for the services it covers.
Intellectual property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and the Valestral name, is owned by or licensed to Valestral and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission.
Third-party platforms and links
The Site and our services may link to or rely on third-party platforms, including scheduling tools, secure portals, e-signature providers, and accounting software. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party sites or services. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site in any manner that is unlawful, that interferes with the operation of the Site, that attempts to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data, or that infringes the rights of any third party.

Any liability related to professional services is limited as described in the applicable service agreement.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
